Important CCHIT Comment Period |

CCHIT recently opened a public comment period that ends on Feb 16, 2008. It appears that one of the key questions during this period is whether to significantly decrease scope of the intial year's certification to allow for a ramping up of requirements over time. Discussion with charter members has led the EIA to rename itself the Emergency Informatics Association. We are no longer an alliance, but rather an association. Any references to the alliance will be removed as soon as they come to our attention. |
