We have installed a Wiki!  It is currently available to logged-in members and is where we will be discussing our responses to several important comment periods.  It also serves a place for the community to produce educational materials or other content.
 
Important CCHIT Comment Period

CCHIT recently opened a public comment period that ends on Feb 16, 2008. It appears that one of the key questions during this period is whether to significantly decrease scope of the intial year's certification to allow for a ramping up of requirements over time. EIA Name Shift to Association

Discussion with charter members has led the EIA to rename itself the Emergency Informatics Association.  We are no longer an alliance, but rather an association.  Any references to the alliance will be removed as soon as they come to our attention.
 
The EIA has organized effective December 2007

We are now moving membership into the new database via this website. This new format facilitates self-management of the mailing lists (e.g. work group membership). Please register and log in to access additional features. We welcome your input on improvements.
